I'm surprised that we haven't heard from people in
the world of hydraulics and the movement/control of
liquids and steam and pressurized gases.
Not only would they toss around terms like "male"
and "female", they'd talk about [gasp!] "coupling".
Worse, they'd [double-gasp!] _write_ such terms in
their manuals and catalogs, not even caring that
those documents might be seen by children and
impressionable/PC "adults".
