Hello all,
A few weeks ago, I posted this message to the list:
<<When you first open the help system that is connected to my software
application, the Contents/Index/Search tabs are not displayed in the
upper-left corner of the help system. Instead, there is a "Show"
hyperlink. When I click on this link, the tabs all display properly...
How can I make these three tabs automatically show up when the help
system appears?>>
I got some excellent replies on how to configure the help system and
make this happen, which I passed on to my programmers. At this point,
they are working on it. Here's my questions today (assuming worst-case
scenario & they can't get it configured the way I want):
1. Does anyone out there actually allow the "Show" hyperlink to appear
in their help system? (I doubt whether most users would guess it
displayed the TOC, etc.)
2. Is there any way to do the following:
A. Change the wording of the "Show" link to read "Display
Contents/Index/Search?"
B. Change the position of the "Show" link so it appears elsewhere on the
page?
