Dave,

I use Salary.com. You can search for jobs and salaries based on location, and each job description includes the amount of experience and responsibility you should expect for that job level.

Subject: Ammunition for pay review

Hi everybody, I'm putting together a salary scale based on skill level
for technical writers (ammunition when for the annual pay review). What
are the duties that each level should be able to perform with the
following years of experience:
* Beginner 1-2 years
* Intermediate 2-5 years
* Senior 5+ years

Looking forward to your replies

Dave
