Even if you eliminate the company and product identifiers, you could
still end up using someone else's copyrighted material. If I were a
prospective employer/client looking at your samples, that would concern
me. How are you going to treat *my* copyrighted material five years from
now?

Eliminating the identifiers takes care of trademark issues, but not
necessarily copyright -- that's a different animal.
