Well, if your experience consists mainly of companies that
don't have tech pubs groups or managers and your hiring
managers are in Engineering, Operations, Marketing,. etc.,
then an "I've done it all and here it all is" dump may be
the appropriate thing to use. But when I hire a writer, I think I have a pretty good idea what I'm looking for.

So, you advocate a resume specific to what you understand the
position requirements to be?

Maybe that's where we have our disconnect. I use the same resume for
each position I apply to. I haven't seen enough situations where the
organization actualy knew what they needed in a technical writer.
