100%. They either want to talk to me as soon as possible, or they absolutely don't. I want that decision to be easy for them. I don't want to have to dance with anyone who thinks I"m too expensive, too opinionated, too old, too creative, too eclectic, too smart, or too crazy. It's a waste of my time and theirs to go through a process that has little chance of success. They can't help but read my whole resume. Everything is compelling. It may not fit their needs, and that's okay. But they read it. And I've built in icebreaker questions for the interview. By the time we get to the meat of the interview, they already have a sense of whether I'll fit into their organization or not.
