Subject:XML to CHM or WebHelp From:"Yves Barbion" <yves -dot- barbion -at- gmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Mon, 15 Jan 2007 13:20:28 +0100
Hello techwhirlers,
I've got an XML file (exported from a database) and I've been asked to
convert it to HTMLHelp (chm) or WebHelp. The possible scenarios I see for
the moment are the following:
- Import the XML file into FrameMaker, create a FrameMaker book and
generate a TOC. Create a WebWorks project and publish the FrameMaker book as
HTMLHelp or WebWorks Help.
- Import the XML file into RoboHelp X5 or MadCap Flare, generate TOC
there and publish as chm.
Any other options? I guess xml > xslt > chm must be possible as well?
