question on how to disable a file's network transmission capability

Hello, I have a question - is there a simple way to make it so that an MS
Word file (also, an OOo file) can be made to 'stay put' on a certain machine
so that the person who needs the file cannot (accidently or on purpose) send
it to another machine? Thanks.
