RE: OT? Vintage manuals

I have some original manuals for my old analog synthesizers, and some of
them, especially for those made by a now-defunct company called ARP, are
fairly well written.  My old Yashica FR 35mm camera-well, that's a
different story.

But my favorite small set of user instructions are those on the side of
an old Wesson Oil homemade mayonnaise maker.  The simple instructions-I
can't remember the exact recipe-are embossed on the side of the jar.  It
was made in the late 20's and is a nice fusion of usability and proper

Now think about that as compared to something like a Cuisinart 9pc food
processor.
