I'll do my best to go along with whatever rules Eric wants to use, but I
will say that the kinds of "rules" suggested here have proven to be the
death of more than one mailing list that I've belonged to. People wind up,
like we're doing now, in meta-arguments about incorrect posting styles and
so forth.
