Just make sure you include all of your benefits with your salary, because that is what your employer sees...not your take home, but everything it costs to employ you. Contractors, assuming it's a 1099 contractor, do not cost the company for medical, dental, retirement, office space, unemployment insurance, etc.

Apples to apples......true cost to true cost.
