I'm not accustomed to getting notes
after interviewing someone. Culture gap.
I'm in another country, and etiquette is
a little different here.

If I'm in the interviewer's position, I
want to see what the candidate is capable
of writing. If the writing is okay, then
as long as the candidate exhibits good will
and does not seem dishonest, disruptive, or
technophobic, I don't care a whole lot about
personality. If somebody wants to work behind
a curtain, I'll authorize the curtain (and have
done so). I figure it's my job to get the best
writers and to provide them with the conditions
in which they can do their best work.
Again though-- I'm in another country. Good
writers of English are rare here to begin with.
