Nah, law enforcement and military historians are big boys and girls -- I'm sure they don't mind sharing their terminology where called for. And Holders of the Documentation Purse Strings aren't very likely to spend anything on research simply to avoid titillating those users at the tablet-toting/urban warfare nexus. Remember the flap over mouse balls? These (un)fortunate terms inspire loyalty to the technology, if anything.
