Oddly, I remember the crashes with that very same split-second
precision. What I don't normally remember is the ones that got away.
I will never forget the faces of my ex-passengers as they recounted to
some mutual friends the hair-raising tale of overtaking cars on a blind
corner with a lorry bearing down on us only to have me ask, 'what
lorry?'
