Beth,
I generally try not to mix different fonts in the same paragraph style. However, circumstances beyond our control sometimes force us into that position. In your case, I would substitute Bookman Old Style for Times New Roman. BOS is an almost exact size fit for Arial, and is a fine looking font to boot. IMHO, it reads as well on paper as TNR.
