Yah, maybe; but I'm *still* not going to order a "Rooty Tooy
Fresh-n-Fruity" at the pancake place!
There's a sandwich shop down the street that calls their French dip an
"Ooh La La." The waitress asked me why I always say French dip instead
of Ooh La La. I replied that nobody I know from France ever says Ooh La
La. I detest "cutesy" labels and intentional misspellings-and if you
collect stupid convenience store names, like me, you know what I mean.
My favorite is still "Bar F". They were trying for the 'brand' effect
(bar and F), but locals (in Albuqueque and perhaps beyond) would
invariably 'run out to the Barf for some ciagrettes'.
