AFAIK there are parts of Indiana that still don't recognize DST. Sometimes
folks right across the street have different times for DST. They refer to
the distinction as "fast time" and "slow time"

Arizona does not recognize DST, nor did many parts of Indiana until a
new law was passed this November forcing them to follow DST. We did the
clock shift in Alaska too, and made fun of it 'cause we had three times:
daytime, nighttime and dusk. Daytime was summer. Nighttime was winter,
and dusk was spring and fall. Depending on how far north you lived,
nighttime could stretch from October to March.
