Hi Sairam,

You *can* create interactive tutorials using Captivate. Have you checked
out the following OnDemand Seminars from Adobe:

(You have to register with Adobe to view the seminars, which are
otherwise free.)

You can create learning branches - sort of like yes/no/maybe process
diagrams - to map out learning responses, and link backwards and
forwards to the appropriate slides/information. It takes a bit of time
to design but is quite powerful.
