Hi:

I often hear the term "freelancing" used in ref to TWing. What is the differ
ence between temping (W2 or 1099) and freelancing?

I think in this case...nothing; although, we tend to view "freelancing" as cont
ract work. If you are coming from a non technical writing field...magazines, ne
wspapers, e-zines, most video scripts, etc., freelancing is a form of 1099 work
that may or may not involve a contract when the work is created. However, it
will have a contract when the work is purchased (First North American Serial Ri
ghts, All Rights, etc.).
