I've been impressed with the Manuals for Sony Vegas and their other
audio & video software. Here's a link to all the manuals.

Hi everyone,

I've just joined up and have been enjoying the spirited discussions here
:)

I've been looking through the STC's competition winners, and kudos to
those
who got through, but I can't help but feel that there are other manuals
out
there that also deserve recognition, but either never got submitted or
missed out for unknown reasons.

So, my question: which user guides do you look at as a "best practice"
example for your own work? Are there any that you just plain like for
unknown reasons? It can be one you have written, or something from
somewhere
else entirely. What do like most about it? Oh, and if it's available
online,
a link would be nice :)

I'm particularly interested in software user guides, since that's the
field
I specialize in.

Cheers,
Trish :)
