Old Farts R Us? When my kids were young, they insisted that I boycott
the Something-(backwards)R-Us places, because they felt it encouraged
poor spelling.

As for degrees.... I went back to college this summer to finally finish
my bachelor's degree, and landed my first full-time tech writing job
about two months after I started classes. Now I'm juggling learning a
new industry AND Spanish!

So my resume will list my bachelor's degree in 2007, in addition to 30
years of writing, editing, and management experience.

A leader is best when people barely know that he exists. Less good when
they
obey and acclaim him. Worse when they fear and despise him. Fail to
honor
people, and they fail to honor you. But of a good leader, when his work
is
done, his aim fulfilled, they will say, "We did this ourselves."
