Re: Hiring Discrimination
Out of curiosity, how would you react to hearing that? Should I have
done anything with that information?
I would have said something like, "I understand your reasoning,
but I believe that if we were to apply that preference to our
hiring practices we could put the company at risk of potential
legal problems." If I was an individual contributor the effect of such a comment would most likely be nil, but whether you are a manager or an individual contributor, you have a responsibility to act in the best interests of the company.
