Y'old fart!! Move over for us hungry youngsters.
I've been at my current gig since 1998, so when it inevitably
goes away (I'm at a branch office in Canada, versus the centre[er]
of the universe in Maryland), I'll be facing the age thing for
real, for the first time. Shiver me timbers...
I'm taking note of tips about expungeing age give-aways from
the resumé, and such.
My wife has me dying my face fuzz, cuz she doesn't want to
be married to an olde guye, but I begin to see the sense
of it when interviewing for employment, too. Of course, next year,
after surgery and braces are done, I'll have an actual chin
and won't need to fake it with concealing fuzz... :-)
Maybe. Haven't seen my nekkid lower face in almost two
decades. Here's hopin' it's worth the money and pain.
I'm 52.
Bah! [smack-smack! lighten up]
Bridges are for crossin' when ye get to 'em, not before.
Now, where's muh cane?
And the white socks fer wearin' with muh sandals...
And gol'durn it, ah'm gonna re-write the manual for
muh hearin' aid... if ah kin jus' find muh readin' glasses.
Eh? What's that yuh say?
Kevin (who's mostly kidding.......... no, really)
