I have found that it is important for me to know *why* someone needs to do a
thing, because I am an experienced online help developer, and generally have
better idea of what my apps will do than they do. Many times, I've saved
them a bunch of grief too.
Char explained that it is possible to use a command line to gen the Robohelp
output. Didn't know that. Learn something new every day!

Aren't you talking about different things? Lara is looking for a HAT tool
that can be controlled from the command line to allow an automated
software build process. But you seem to have interpreted this to be
a request for command line access on the user's side.
