ARGH, responded to the wrong part of the thread -- I meant my response
to be to the original email from Mike Schmidt. Humour in view of the
recent discussion of tech writer rates. It flopped.
My parents tried to charge me for food, rent, etc.
My dad gave me an invoice as joke when I was 21. It contained line
items for car rides, laundry loads, handyman fixups and totalled
$18,245.23. I still have it somewhere. He is a retired time and motion
study analyst, in the style of Frank Gilbreth. So he has way too much
time on his hands.
