Well, I tried different language settings and it didn't matter, I still
had a readability index in some documents and not in others.

And I tried what Geoff said, and it did exactly as he said it would.

RATS. I had hoped that the readability index would prove useful in
showing my clients how the original content was that much more difficult
to read than the re-write.

Does anyone know of any third-party software that works?

on other? I mean: on some documents you get the =ndex, and on
some documents you don't, while you have requested it in exactly =he
same way. Weird.
