TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I'm getting acquainted with these two systems, and aside from the remote
training, I was hoping for a few pointers. The database is slowed with
an overbroad use of keywords (company is one), and I need to retool it
quickly. Also, many of the latest answers are yet to go into the
database. Any Ideas? I am pushing answers in one at a time, but would
treasure just "loading" the newer answers, and "expiring" the old ones,
like SANT did. I also needed to learn how to display the last edited/
used dates in our sorts - even when current is in, the old linger :-(.
Thanks!
Melissa

Came off a Google search, so perhaps not - assuming you did a search
already and discarded what you found...

I love being a writer. What I can't stand is the paperwork.
