Hi:
Trying running the "Repair" option for Microsoft Word as well. This is the
same as a reinstall, where you select Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
> Microsoft Word (or Microsoft Office 2003 depending our your installation)
and select the Repair option.
There seem to be some basic incompatibilities with Word and Acrobat 7, so I
have done this several times. Not sure if it will help you, but it won't
hurt to try.
