I hate to say it, but when I see something like that I suspect a corruption.
You probably have to start over. Paste the table unformatted into a new
document. That clears everything, including the table. Select all the text
and use the Table/Convert/Convert Text to Table command. Copy that table
back into your document and format as needed.
Hopefully someone will have a less fussy solution for you.

Hiya - I have one cell in a Word table that won't print, though the text is
