I have to disagree with this idea. It would be
productive only under just the right circumstances. It
has been my experience that most companies don't
really care all that much about documentation anyway,
and they tend to regard tech writers as fungible
goods, easily replaced. If you deliberately work
harder, you run the risk of doing extra work for
nothing.
