And, just to add to Karen's comment, applications like RoboHelp and
FrontPage use Normal as the standard style. If you don't use Normal and
you want to convert over to HTML, it will be more difficult to do so,
just FYI.

I think I experienced what Karen said about someone modifying the Body
Text style once, and have never used Body Text as the standard
again--only Normal. (Yikes! There were 212 pages of it!)
