Other arrangements are possible, with the penalty (or virtue)
of obscuring the meaning a bit:

"Recommended to use standard client-server
configuration when most users are located
in one facility. Alternatively recommended to use multi-server configuration when most users are in remote locations, or when any users have slow or unreliable network connections. Multi-server configuration needs the following modifications [...]."
