Thanks for this and others who replied. Several mentioned the Tools >
Options > General tab, to enable the Offline help.

Someone in our office suggested that we might switch to Webworks Publisher
now that RoboHelp is not being supported by Macromedia. I told them that
there is a large and generous user group out there and no one needs
corporate support so long as this is true.
How true!

auto-save to any Windows application (even applications which have no
built-in auto-save at all). Here's one:
