I am new to tech writing, and I am trying to decide on the best help-authoring tool to suit our online help needs. Can anyone attest to the capabilites (or lack thereof) of Robohelp, Flare and HelpMaker (a free app) for these specific needs?
- HTML/web-based help (not just CHM)
- Server-side online help files
- Context-sensitive (web-based) help
- Keyword search
- Ability to export help files into a PDF (of a full user guide, for example).
Thanks!
Jen
