Subject:Problem with Word TOC's in Adobe Conversions From:Susan -dot- Jelus -at- daytonrcs -dot- com (Susan Jelus) To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 30 May 2006 15:50:44 -0400
Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone out there can help me with a knotty problem.
We're having trouble converting large Word 2003 documents to Acrobat 7 .pdf
files. In the converted acrobat .pdf files, the links from the table of
contents (created in Word) to topics in the same document don't work in some
of our larger documents (anything over 10 megabytes).
We've tried lots of different approaches to solving this problem, without
success. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?
We have changed the following, recently:
- Went to Word 2003
- Made changes to the Word 2000 document in Word 2003
- Added codes for an index to the Word 2003 document
- Reinstalled Acrobat 7
Thanks very much for your help. I'm on the digest, so please reply
directly.
