Re: Visio 2003: How to freeze swimlane panes
Does anyone know how to freeze the swimlane heading column in Visio as
one might freeze a heading row in Excel?
What exactly do you mean by "freeze the heading column?" In Excel,
you would freeze a header row to keep it in place while you scrolled
down a lengthy spreadsheet... how would this concept apply to a
swimlane diagram? Wouldn't you just run the diagram over several
pages with off-page references, repeating the title bar and lane-label
information on each page?
Helpful hint, which you may already know: In Visio-speak, a swimlane
diagram is a "cross-functional flowchart." Try searching Visio help
(local and online) on that phrase.
