We have Agile in-house for controlling parts. It took us a while, but we
finally found a way for Agile to store our documents. We looked at Agile's
Project Management component, but decided it wasn't for us.

You may already have a system in-house -- such as Agile or VSS -- that can
be adapted to document storage. Or, you can find another alternative, such
as http://www.docmoto.com/ or http://www.documentum.com/.

No matter what you use, you have to consider three things: software,
hardware, and business rules...Whoops! I shouldn't give away the article I
am having published soon in Intercom :)
