I have an old Word document full of tables I need to resize to fit within the
margins and to be consistent throughout the document. Every time I try to
change the size or position of the table or a column using the resize
pointer, the table does the opposite I've asked it to (i.e. goes left when
I've tried to move it right, goes right when I tried to move it left). I've
removed every "preferred width" option I can find, I've tried splitting the
table into separate rows...nothing is working consistently.

Please help me!
