Just some observations of the benefits of being a TW:

When my old company got bought, our sales manager left. Since I've been doing some marketing
material and did know our products, I was asked to change into technical sales (and training, but
this is another story).

I found that
- the language competence (reading fast, writing well),
- the proficiency with computers in general and the internet, word processing and graphic
applications in particular,
- the intimate product knowledge,
- the ability to structure information from customers and from our company,
- the experience in getting information out of people (developers, production and sales) and
- the ability to quickly learn something new
made the transition much easier than I anticipated.

It's good to be a TW!

Have a nice weekend,

Jens
