At the risk of turning this is to a SnagIt thread, I'll add that
SnagIt's ability to change the color depth is very useful. I set it to
autmatically drop to 8-bit color, you don't loose any detail in the
typical application screen cap and you get a smaller file size. This
is especially helpful when you will be using the caps in Word, since
we all know how Word loves it when the files get large... ;-)
