I don't think that most non-writers will provide reorganization
suggestions. They probably will point out major omissions or
late-breaking changes. In fact, they usually *will* give you
late-breaking changes; somehow they only do this if you ask for a review
>:( .

Also remember that reviews enforce the joint responsibility and
participation of all members of a cross-functional team. They are a
necessary part of the CYA part of corporate politics. With luck, you may
also learn something from them.

Also, a brain storm: if you ask for reviews, offer to help with
testing/usability/whatever. Being a giver as well as taker is a Good
Thing.

Someone recently posted about having people review his/her up to 600
page manuals. Can such reviews result in significant feedback such as
reorgan1zation suggestions or the filling of logical "holes", or will
feedback on text be limited to minnor corrections?
