PDF hyperlinks off-target

Subject: PDF hyperlinks off-target

When outputting PDF from Word, the hyperlinks sometimes are off-target in
the PDF output. That is, the hyperlink "area" is moved slightly away from
the text that is the target of the link.
Has anyone experienced this? What to do? Manual correction is all I have
found.

Thanks.
