How long is her thesis that she needs to work in separate documents? I
have documents that are over 500 pages and are stuffed full of
cross-references and huge graphics, and they purr like happy kittens.
Large documents in Word aren't the problem that the Framevangelists
would have you believe ;-) Maybe all your friend needs is some
coaching --turn off Fast Saves, use styles diligently, when
cutting-and-pasting,don't paste in the final paragraph return of a
document--to
