We use a conventional source-control system -- currently Perforce,
previously CVS. Someone in our organization is now looking into
other document-management systems.

Our source is XML, so we benefit from textual diff between versions.
If we were checking in binary sources (like FrameMaker files) our
use of source control might be different.
