I may be missing something obvious here, but selecting the cells that
you want to copy out of Excel, copying them to the Clipboard, and
pasting them into Word creates a Word table out of your Excel
spreadsheet data automagically, with much formatting intact; it
usually takes some tweaking, but not much.
