I'm sorry I was not more specific. It's always permissable to ask.
You can ask anything of anyone. You can ask a woman you've never met
her age. You might get slapped, but you can ask. However, don't
expect an answer.
Think about it. What is in it for the agency to tell you how much
they are making on you. is there ANY possible upside for them to tell
you? Is there the chance that you are going to say "I'm sorry, I need
you to keep more of my rate." You'll always want more of what they
are keeping for themselves, or expect that they justify why they are
keeping X% and they don't have to do that either..
Back to my answer before...what does it matter? Whether you are
getting what you want or you aren't...you simply decide if the amount
to you is what you want.
