Nvu is listed an alternative option to Dreamweaver, which I've been going back and forth on buying for some time now (I still hand-code HTML when I need it, and while that's fun and all, I feel like I should learn something about modern methods :-) ). Does anyone have experience with it?

In its current incarnation, Nvu isn't really comparable to Dreamweaver.
It's an elaboration on Mozilla Composer, with a few features and some
basic site management tools.

That's not to say that it isn't a fairly good program -- just a limited
one. I've taught it to teachers with little technical background, and
they've found it meets their needs quite well.
