While we're on the subject, TechSmith is incredibly responsive to
comments, suggestions (and, I would suppose, complaints--but that is
something I have never had experience with regarding SnagIt!).

For anyone using "print screen" and any variation of tools with it, I
would think either you are somewhat masochistic or you simply don't do
many screen captures.

On my personal machine, I have a number of different graphics
utilities that can capture screens and manipulate the images. That
said, if I didn't already have it, I would still buy SnagIt. The depth
of features and ease of use are simply unmatched.

I *wish* they had a Linux version, of course, but that is another story!

As many of you are probably aware, I am a huge proponent of open
source for many things. However, I am also a strong advocate of best
of breed solutions for those tasks we must regularly perform. On that
score, hats of to the folks at TechSmith.
