The best 'standard' that I have seen relative to documentation is a
pair of
books written by ? Tautsworth in the late 70's/early 80's.

I only have the 2nd volume.

It goes into detail using an organization chart to describe the parts
and
structure of many documents.

I am not sure if these books are still in print.

I will get mo copy out and try to put into Outline form the
Organizational
Charts.

I will do for one or two as a start, and then if there is interest, I
will
try to do the others.

Please let me know if I should do this, and if it is something that
would be
useful.

Using the examples in my past experience has helped me make sure i
"covered
all the bases".
