The assistant district attorney said that the defendant, who poured the
liquid out, ignored or didn't see the warning label attached to the jug
handle. The warning label said "arsenical" and "total weed killer."

The defendant's lawyer said the label was not conspicuous. He said that
that the case "a tragic accident," not a criminal act.
